| Long Description | 3M™ Boron Nitride Suspension Cast-C has been developed for special aluminum casting requirements. With the patented nanobinder, the boron nitride layer provides hitherto unequaled release and protective properties when used on ceramic substrates, such as casting tables and launders, hot top rings, etc. Depending on use, the suspension can be diluted with water. Other additives ensure that, in comparison with other conventional suspensions, a higher resistance to scratching is achieved or that the flexibility of the finish remains guaranteed up to a temperature of 800°C [1,500°F]. |
